Questions before you download

Is the Sarai app free?

Yes. Finding chargers, planning trips and navigation are free on both Android and iOS, with no account needed to browse. You pay only for the electricity when you charge at a Sarai charger, from a prepaid wallet in PKR.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and iPad from the App Store, and Android phones from Google Play. Both stores carry the same app.

Do I need the app to find a charger?

No. Every charger on the map has a page on this site with its power, connectors, price, opening hours and directions — no signup. The app adds live status on Sarai chargers, trip planning around your car's real range, and paying for the charge.

How do I pay for charging?

From a prepaid wallet in PKR. Top it up in the app, scan the QR at the charger, and the session settles against the wallet with a receipt. Community chargers are paid however that operator asks.

Does it know my car?

Pick your model once from 396 in the catalogue and the planner uses its real battery size, charging curve and connector — so the stops it picks are ones your car can actually use at a speed it can actually take.
